Terms of Service
Development build · rev 2026-08-09
The terms for Skylith's development build. They describe how the service actually behaves today; the binding agreement lands before launch.
Skylith is a card game. The service exists so you can play it, keep your progress, and share it with other players — use it for that.
Don't attempt to disrupt the service, probe its internals, or interfere with other players' sessions.
Skylith is being built in the open. Features appear, change and disappear, and progress may be reset when the way it is stored changes. None of that is a fault — it is what a development build is.
Nothing here is sold yet, so nothing here is owed. When that changes, this section changes with it.
One account per player. You're responsible for what happens on yours — keep your sign-in to yourself.
Your @handle is permanent. It is chosen once, it cannot be changed, and it is not released even if you delete your account — a freed handle is an impersonation waiting to happen.
Your display name is yours to change, once every 30 days. The limit exists so the name above a leaderboard score still means something an hour later.
Handles, display names, bios and avatars are public. Your email address is never shown to other players (Privacy Policy, Section 2).
Cheating, exploiting, and leaderboard manipulation break the game for everyone and can cost you your account. The Community Guidelines spell out the spirit of it.
Card statistics are game rules, not your data — they are set by us and cannot be written by a client. Attempting to change them is not a bug report.
You can pause your account or delete it from Settings → Account. Pausing is reversible at any time. Deletion waits seven days and can be cancelled from the sign-in screen for every one of them; after that it is permanent and cannot be undone by anyone, including us.
We can disable an account that breaks these terms or the Community Guidelines. That is a separate thing from pausing your own account, and it is not something you can lift yourself.
What deletion removes, and the one thing it deliberately leaves behind, is set out in the Privacy Policy, Section 7.
These terms will change as Skylith grows. Every change is recorded in the revision history below, with its date — the current text is always the one that binds.
